MEET THE TEAM AT ANDERSON AQUATICS - SANTA BARBARA

  • Breanna Anderson, PT, DPT

Breanna Anderson has close to 20 years of experience working as an aquatic physical therapist and water fitness instructor. A native of Connecticut, Breanna's love of the water began as a child, spending summers in her backyard pool, taking swimming lessons, and competing on swim team. After graduating from Ithaca College, she began her career at Complete PT in Los Angeles and received her initial aquatics training from Lynda Huey. Breanna has extensive experience treating adults with orthopedic and neurological conditions in the pool, as well as working with children with special needs. She holds several aqua fitness certifications, including S'WET (TM), ABS Aqua Combat, and Christa Fairbrother - Aqua Yoga, among others. She is an active member of Aquatic Exercise Association/Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute and the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Aquatic Physical Therapy.

  • Travis Anderson

Travis Anderson has always had a passion for coaching. An accomplished athlete (including 3-time All American honors in track & field at the University of Oregon), Travis spent the first 10 years of his career coaching at the University of Wisconsin & at the University of California - Santa Barbara before deciding to trade his track spikes for swim fins. Travis's understanding of exercise physiology, combined with his athletic background & competitive drive, has allowed him to achieve success as an aquatic personal trainer and water fitness instructor. He is particularly skilled in working with individuals with balance impairments, Parkinson’s Disease, and injured athletes. Travis loves showing clients how to use the pool to reach their goals, whether that means achieving a new personal best, returning to favorite hobbies, or being able to perform everyday tasks without falling.

  • Roxy Anderson

Roxy Anderson was our official behind-the-scenes therapy dog, mascot, and honorary lifeguard. Roxy loved her friends at the pool, but she preferred swimming in the ocean. Roxy’s favorite hobbies included sunbathing, fetching squeaky balls, cuddling, and taking long walks on the beach.

Sadly, Roxy passed in July 2025, but she will always be in our hearts, and thus, an important part of our team. Her presence is missed by all.
