WATER FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & SCHEDULE:

Traditional Group Classes:

Wavemakers (Intermediate level; 45 minutes)

This total body workout delivers high intensity, low impact cardio & strength training in both shallow & deep water. Participants will be expected to wear a buoyancy belt or use buoyancy equipment for support in deep water. (Deep water exercise experience is recommended.)

  • Mondays at 2pm

  • Wednesdays at 2pm

  • Fridays at 2pm

Aqua Boot Camp (Intermediate-advanced level; 50 minutes)

Get ready to work hard, get wet, AND see results! Using a combination of interval training, circuits, and competitive games, participants will build lean muscle mass & improve cardiovascular fitness. Expect the unexpected in this challenging shallow & deep water group class!

  • Mondays at 8am & 5:30pm

  • Wednesdays at 7am

  • Thursdays at 9am

  • Fridays at 7am & 1pm

Aqua HIIT (Intermediate-advanced level; 50 minutes)

This innovative deep water (only) class allows for maximal cardiovascular conditioning with minimal joint forces! Performing high intensity interval training in the pool enables participants to work out harder than on land… and with less joint pain & less muscle soreness afterwards! Deep water exercise experience is highly recommended.

  • Tuesdays at 7am & 9am

  • Wednesdays at 5:30pm

Aqua Circuit (Intermediate-advanced level; 50 minutes)

A fun & fast-paced class that will keep you moving! Using a series of structured intervals and targeted stations, students will develop power, muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, and dynamic stability. Expect a challenging, full-body workout that will push your limits and keep you on your toes with an ever-changing format.

  • Thursdays at 5:30pm

Splash FIT: POP UP! (Advanced level; 50 minutes)

Our most difficult (and splashiest!) class, Splash FIT combines our favorite elements of S’WET, HIIT, Fun & Games, and Boot Camp! Water shoes are recommended for shallow water plyometrics & agility exercises. Basic swimming skills are required.

  • Tuesdays at 5:30pm

Small Group Specialty Classes:

Aqua Yoga (All levels; 50-55 minutes)

Traditional land-based asanas are modified for the pool, with a strong focus on connecting breath with movement. Classes consist of a guided warm-up, spinal mobility poses, and standing & balancing asanas using a variety of props. Each class ends with a floating mediation (Savasana). No previous yoga experience is necessary.

  • Saturdays at 8am

S'WET (Intermediate-advanced level; 50 minutes)

S’WET is a shallow water only class that combines High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) with plyometrics, strength sets, and unique resistance equipment for an energizing, fun, and results-driven workout. Water shoes are recommended. Bring a water bottle.

SPLASH FIT SUMMER SERIES

8-week progressive class series (July 6 - August 28). Advanced level. Days/times TBD.

SUP Classes:

Intro to SUP FIT(Intermediate level; 30 minutes)

Learn the basics in our 30-minute Intro to SUP FIT class utilizing the Aqua Body Strong floating fitness boards! We'll show you how to safely climb on and fall off the boards, practice your skills, and get your feet wet with a variety of core, cardio, and yoga-inspired moves. Only $20!

SUP FIT(Advanced level; 45 minutes)

Cardio, strength, balance & more! Clients will be on & off the Aqua Body Strong floating fitness boards, using a combination of bodyweight exercises, resistance equipment, and pool toys. Get ready to make a splash!

SUP YOGA(Intermediate level; 45 minutes)

Take your yoga class to new heights with this new paddleboard-style class. Most asanas are performed in sitting, lying, or table top (all 4s), but don’t let the simplicity of these poses fool you… even experienced yogis should be ready to challenge their strength & stability in new ways!

SUP SCULPT(Intermediate level; 45 minutes)

Ready for a fun & challenging way to boost your core, hip, and upper body strength? SUP Sculpt includes some Pilates & Yoga-inspired movements in addition to your favorite “land” exercises — like bridges, planks, burpees, and push-ups!
